Curve Will is a dragon shout obtained by progressing through the Dragonborn expansion'due south primary questline.
After learning and unlocking the beginning word, you are able to cleanse the All-Maker Stones located throughout the island by shouting at them. This allows you to activate the stones, gaining their respective Powers.
The second word is learned from Hermaeus Mora at the stop of The Path of Knowledge. It allows you to force other NPCs and creatures to become temporary allies.
The final word, taught to yous by Hermaeus Mora at the end of The Gardener of Men, allows you to temporarily tame and ride dragons, much like Miraak.
Throughout the questline, it is insinuated that Miraak'due south power comes from this shout. He was taught this shout by Hermaeus Mora after he pledged himself in service to the Daedric Lord, and supposedly was the power he was seeking every bit Dragonborn up to that betoken; specifically, the power to accept complete command over others.

Notes [edit]
- When used on a dragon, information technology will land near you and expect a few moments to be ridden. If yous practise not mount the dragon it will instead accept off and help you lot in combat. It will patrol the surface area and engage any hostiles you encounter within its "territory".
- Information technology is possible to use this shout on Odahviing, by either waiting for two hours, or simply waiting for your shout to recharge naturally.
- This shout also acts like the Dragonrend shout, as it forces the dragon to land. It can be particularly helpful if yous oasis't proceeded far enough through the main questline in guild to get the Dragonrend shout. The only drawback to this is that it does not work on a few specific dragons.
- After riding the dragon information technology will have its leave of your service, if you do non act quickly it volition fly off into the altitude. If you lot are quick enough you tin reuse the shout to ride it again, or force information technology to expect a short fourth dimension for you on the ground. This method can be used to harvest its soul, as once provoked, information technology will not try to wing off once again.
- You tin can fast-travel while riding a dragon fifty-fifty if hostile enemies are nearby, unless your dragon'southward health is beneath 50 percent.[verification needed]
- If your dragon kills a non-hostile NPC, such as a baby-sit, you will incur the compensation yourself.
- The post-obit dragons cannot be ridden using this shout: Alduin, DurnehviirDG, NaaslaarumDG, Paarthurnax, Sahloknir, VoslaarumDG, Vulthuryol and nameless dragons at Skuldafn.
- Undead are allowed to the shout which just staggers them.
Bugs [edit]
- When using the curve volition shout on a dragon, doing more half of that dragons health in damage will ALWAYS result in the dragon flying to the nearest crash landing marking rather than having a adventure at landing.
